Moscow's minister to Turkey was killed by a shooter while he was going by a craftsmanship display in the capital Ankara on Monday, authorities said, with video demonstrating the shooter shouting the killing was vengeance for Russia's inclusion in the Syrian common war. 

Diplomat Andrey Karlov was talking at the photograph show when a man in a suit behind him — recognized by Turkey's Minister of Interior as Mevlut Mert Altintas, a Turkish policeman — opened fire. 



Three individuals, including a remote national, were additionally injured in the assault, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said.


urkey's service of remote issues later affirmed Karlov's demise in what they said was a "modest fear monger assault." 


"This assault demonstrated the most nauseating and uncouth face of fear. Turkey, together with Russia and all its different accomplices, will keep on making each push to battle fear mongering," service authorities said in an announcement. 


In remarks communicate on Turkish TV, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the shooter had been an individual from Ankara's mob police for over two years. 

"We will have a joint examination with Russia. [President Vladimir] Putin and I concur this is an incitement. We will have a more grounded solidarity against global fear mongering," Erdoğan said. 


In remarks communicate in Russia state media, President Putin said the Russian Investigative Committee had opened a criminal case into the diplomat's murder. 

"We have to know who controlled the executioner's hand," Putin said.
